Shipping & Delivery
Most orders will require a signature on delivery (except some very low cost Royal Mail 1st Class items). If you are not in when the courier/postman calls, a card will be left and you can rearrange delivery on an alternate date.
DPD offer the additional facility of rearranging delivery date by email or text. On the morning that your order is due to be delivered, you will receive a text/email giving a 1hr delivery time-slot (e.g. 9:30am to 10:30am). If this time/date is not convenient, you can immediately postpone delivery to another date by replying to the message
Privacy & Security
We take appropriate technical and organisation security measures to protect your personal information and ensure that it is processed fairly and lawfully. Smart Teck uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layers. We do not transfer your personal information outside of the European Economic Area.
We retain your personal information for a period of 6 years from the date of your last interaction with us (this could be a sales transaction, a return, or some other interaction with Smart Teck via our Customer Services team or our online tools). This is because we may need to access historical information for business reporting purposes. Please note however, that at any point in time you may opt in or out of marketing communications via the 'your account' section of this website.
Returns & Replacements
In the unlikely event of goods requiring to be returned we have established a returns procedure which has been designed to cause you minimum inconvenience.
1.0 Suspected faulty item: Speak to Customer Service on 0800 36 88 666. Items which are faulty must be returned within the warranty period. In some cases you might need to contact Manufacturer Direct. If the item is diagnosed faulty by our technicians, we will do our best to provide a replacement within 3-5 working days providing the item is in stock at our warehouse.
1.02 Item missing or incorrect item sent: All items must be checked on delivery before signing for the item. If the item looks damaged, please refuse the delivery and contact our Customer Services department on 0800 36 88 666.
1.03 Damaged item: In the event that you receive a damaged item, speak to Customer Services on 0800 36 88 666 within 72 hours of receiving the order. A replacement will not be sent until the damaged item has been returned and inspected.
1.04 Unwanted Or Incompatible Goods: If you purchased the goods online and are a consumer (a private person buying for their personal use) then you may cancel your purchase at any time within 7 working days of receipt starting the day after delivery by informing Smart Choice 786 in writing (email, fax or letter) and we will give you a refund of the price paid. It is a pre-condition to our acceptance of these unwanted goods that they are returned in an unused condition, complete and in a condition reflecting your statutory duty of care (at your own cost).
In order to return the goods to us you must firstly obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation number (RMA) from our Customer Services on 0800 36 88 666 or by filling the Return Form. The return will be authorised once the RMA is issued and you should then return the goods at your own cost and risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that the items reach us safely and in a satisfactory condition. We recommend that you take out insurance cover and that the goods should be sent by recorded or registered post or with a reputable courier. We cannot accept any liability for goods that are damaged in transit and would recommend that you ensure that the goods are sufficiently packaged to prevent this from happening.
1.05 When returning Items:
All returned items must be in original packaging. Smart Teck will not be liable for any damage to items that are not adequately packaged and damaged in transit to Smart Teck.

Please Note, if products purchased from Smart Teck are found returned with illegal software or are faulty due to accident, neglect or misuse you will not be able to return the item to us. We are responsible for reporting any illegal activities to the authorities. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Smart Teck can not be held liable for any loss of data stored on any product sent for testing. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that data is backed up where possible before returning the product.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We make every effort to ensure that prices and descriptions of goods shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. The price of the goods will be as shown on the checkout page of our website when you placed your order. We will charge you this amount. You must also pay a delivery charge for the goods as indicated on our website at the checkout page.
In the unlikely event that the price shown on the checkout page is wrong, and we discover this before accepting your order, we are not required to sell the goods to you at the price shown. We always try and ensure that the prices of goods shown on our website are accurate, but occasionally genuine errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods that you have ordered we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the goods, then you will receive a full refund. We may occasionally have to increase the price of goods, even after your order has been accepted by us. If we have to do this, then you may cancel your order.
