The AK-980-U Magnetic Stripe Reader is the ideal solution for adding MSR capabilities to existing systems. Robust design and high reliable components result in anexcellent product,ideal even for heavy use applications.
MSR head with 500 000 read cycles and metal bottom at the MSR slot. MSR code transmission via key stroke emulation and no need for any special software driver allow the usage of this keyboard at all operating systems. Storage of all settings and programmed headers, separators and suffixes are done in the reader and do not require any permanent software on the computer. Programmable Start and End Sentinels as well as reading sequence. GUI software for easy programming.
